Andrea Leland, MBA, CPRP is the Director of Provider Recruitment for Dartmouth Health, an integrated health system, including an academic medical center and a multispecialty physician group practice—which together employ more than 13,000 physicians, nurses and staff members.

Andrea is responsible for strategic and operational oversight for recruiting physicians and advanced practice providers throughout the system. She manages a team of 11 recruiters, 3 coordinators and 1 immigration specialist. Andrea has been employed by Dartmouth Health for 19 years, and previously worked in Credentialing and Privileging before joining the Talent Acquisition team as a Physician Recruiter in 2017. Andrea is passionate about healthcare issues related to regulatory compliance, rural healthcare and immigration. Andrea obtained her Yellow belt in Continuous Improvement certification by the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Value Institute for a project on decreasing the cycle time to select and onboard Locum Providers. In her previous role in the Medical Staff Office, Andrea worked with clinical leaders to develop and implement a standardized privileging and scope of practice process in accordance with national accreditation standards for the Dartmouth Health system. Andrea, husband Adam, and sons Jack and Ethan enjoy spending time at a family lake house in Maine. Andrea loves to cook and bake and is an avid reader and piano player. Andrea also spends time volunteering at her church where she co-leads a teen ministry.
