Emerson is a Senior Director of Talent Acquisition with Optum, leading a team of recruiters that supports recruitment for Optum East. Optum is the largest employer of care providers in the world, serving over 100 million people and aligning more than 94,000 physicians and advanced practice providers nationwide. With over 20 years of health care recruitment and management experience, Emerson has led multiple teams and initiatives across a diverse group of health systems and practice organizations across the US, including Massachusetts General Hospital, Dartmouth-Hitchcock, Tufts Medical Center and Baystate Health. She also has served as the Director of Clinician Recruitment for the tech-focused, rapidly growing primary care practice group, One Medical.
